Bigg Boss 13 Contestant Asim Riaz's Brother Umar Riaz Receives COVID-19 Vaccine

Umar Riaz revealed that he had tested positive for COVID-19 while serving the people during the COVID-19 crisis.

‘Bigg Boss 13’ contestant Asim Riaz’s brother Umar Riaz took to social media to reveal that he has received the COVID-19 vaccine. Umar, who is a doctor, shared a picture wherein he can be seen taking the Coronavirus vaccine. He said that he has been working throughout the COVID-19 crisis to safeguard the people from the deadly virus. Riaz informed his fans that he had tested positive for the virus last year but he successfully recovered from it. His post has received over 24k likes on Instagram.

"Finally received the COVISHIELD vaccine for the notorious coronavirus. The year 2020 has been nothing but a disaster with people around the world suffering with health issues and loss of their loved ones. Iv been working throughout the pandemic tryna do my part as a doctor helping people in need. During the time, even i got infected but with mercy of Allah recovered well. With vaccine comes new hope and a better future for everyone. I hope the vaccine reaches everyone soon," Umar wrote on Instagram.

One user responded to Umar’s Twitter and thanked him for his service. He wrote, “You deserve it Umar Riyaz. Not all heroes wear cape some wear uniforms and some wear scrubs. Thank you for your service!!”

Talking about Asim, the Jammu lad become a household name post his stint in Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 13’. He emerged as the first runner-up of the popular reality show. Although, he couldn’t lift the winner’s trophy, he managed to win hearts of the fans.

From locking horns with Sidharth Shukla to proposing Himanshi Khurana on national television, Asim grabbed several eyeballs with his actions inside the ‘BB 13’ house.

The model bagged several music videos after coming out of the ‘Bigg Boss 13’ house. He romanced Jacqueline Fernandez in ‘Mere Angne Mein’. He was seen opposite his ladylove Himanshi in music videos like ‘Kalla Sohna Nai’ and ‘Khyaal Rakhya Kar’. Their sizzling chemistry created lot of buzz on social media.

Gossip mills suggest that Salman Khan has offered Asim a role in ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’. The makers of the film co-starring Pooja Hegde are yet to make any official announcement.
