Taapsee Pannu Reveals That She Spends 1 Lakh Per Month On A Dietician
In an interview, Taapsee Pannu revealed that she spends 1 lakh on a dietician and explained that it is not a fancy expense but a necessity.
New Delhi: Taapsee Pannu, who is known to be one of the fittest celebrities in the industry recently revealed the secret to her fitness. In an interview with the Lallantop, Taapsee shared the amount she spends on her dietician and also went on to explain why it is a necessary expense for someone in her profession.
She also admitted that she often has arguments with her parents regarding her spending and how miserly her father is, adding that although having saved money all his life, he still does not spend anything on himself.
"I’ll go home soon, and I know that he’ll scold me for spending so much on a dietician", Lallantop quoted her as saying in the interview.
On hearing this, the interviewer asked her how much she exactly spends on the services of a dietician. After hesitating for a couple of seconds, Taapsee told, "Roughly Rs 1 lakh per month."
The interviewer was shocked to hear that and jokingly said that he is on her father's side. To this, Taapsee explained the reason she has to spend so much on a dietician saying that it is a necessity given the profession she has chosen. She shared with Lallantop, "My diet changes constantly, depending on what film I’m doing, and where I am in my life. After every four or five years, your body also changes. In this profession, most of us need the advice of a professional, to tell us what food is best for us, depending on which city, or which country we’re in. The weather plays a role, local produce plays a role. This is the kind of detail that goes into creating a diet plan."
Taapsee further went on to say that she has got a subscription for her mother as well but her father does not like that. Quoting her father she said her father thinks that ‘it is a fancy thing to have a dietician' and hence tells her not to spend on her mother.
She also shared that it is not a fancy thing and told Lallantop, "This is not a fancy expense, this is a requirement."
Apart from her diet, Taapsee also shared other interesting things in the interview, including the fact that no one takes any presents to Diwali parties or birthday parties hosted at the homes of other famous celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, and therefore, she too does not.
On the work front, she was last seen in 'Blurr' which was released on Zee 5. She will next be seen in a couple of Tamil and Hindi films including, 'Dunki', 'Alien' and 'Woh Ladki Hail Kahaan?'
