On Sushant Singh Rajput’s 5th death anniversary, sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared a touching video remembering her brother, urging fans to continue his legacy of love, learning, and kindness.

On the fifth death anniversary of beloved actor Sushant Singh Rajput, his sister Shweta Singh Kirti paid an emotional tribute that deeply resonated with fans. Taking to Instagram, she posted a heartfelt video remembering her late brother and urged everyone to remember the values he stood for.

In her touching message, Shweta said, “Today is Bhai 5th Death Anniversary, a lot has happened since his death on 14th June 2020. Now CBI has submitted a report to the court and we are in a process of retrieving it. But what I want to say today is no matter what happens, don’t loose heart and don’t loose faith on god or in goodness.”

She reminded fans of Sushant’s pure spirit, adding, “Always remember what our Sushant stood for… purity, an unquenchable zeal for life and learning, a heart full of love which believed in treating everyone equally and doing charity.”

'Let His Legacy Continue': Sushant Singh Rajput's sister message

Shweta’s video emphasized that Sushant's legacy should not be tarnished by negativity. “Bhai hasn’t gone anywhere believe me… he is in you, in me, in all of us. Everytime we love with all our heart, everytime we have child like innocence towards life, everytime we are inclined to learn more, we are bringing him alive.”

She continued, “Never use Bhai’s name to spread any negative feeling… he wouldn’t like that. He didn’t stand for that. Look how many people’s heart and mind he touched and influenced…. Let his legacy continue… you be the burning candle that lights up other candles to continue his legacy.”

Along with the video, Shweta also shared a series of nostalgic throwback pictures — including one with their father and another selfie with Sushant. Her caption read like a tribute to a man whose presence continues to inspire millions.

“His smile and his eyes had this child like innocence which could stir anyone’s heart with overflowing love. That’s what our Sushant stood for. That’s what we have to stand for,” she wrote.

Sushant Singh Rajput death

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence in Mumbai on June 14, 2020. While initial reports suggested suicide, the case soon snowballed into a national outcry, with many alleging foul play. Shweta has been consistently advocating for justice.

In March 2024, she appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene in the ongoing CBI investigation, stating his involvement would “fasten the probe” and offer solace to “howling hearts.”

Even five years on, Sushant’s memory burns bright in the hearts of those who loved him.
