‘Our Son Was Critical’: ‘Scam 1992’ Director Hansal Mehta Opens Up On His Family Testing COVID-19 Positive

Mumbai: Hansal Mehta, who is popularly known for directing the superhit web series ‘Scam 1992’, shared an update about 6 members of his family testing positive for COVID-19. The director also shared that his son’s condition was critical and fortunately, they all are on the road to recovery now.
The ‘Omerta’ director took to his Twitter and wrote, “6 people in my home including me were COVID positive. Our son was critical. But we were helpless as we were sick too. Thankfully we were in Mumbai where hospital beds, oxygen and medicines were available. We are all hopefully now on the road to recovery.”

He further thanked all the frontline warriors for their ‘selfless’ service during this journey and tweeted, “We are thankful to all the doctors, nurses, caregivers, delivery services and frontline workers whose selfless drive has helped us heal in this tumultuous journey. We are thankful to all the friends and sometimes total strangers who prayed and helped us through the illness.”
