Shoaika fans rejoice! As after actress Dipika Kakar, it’s Shoaib Ibrahim who is returning back on set of Sasural Simar Ka 2. Get ready to witness the real-life husband wife’s chemistry on screen as the duo is back in their popular characters of Simar & Prem.

Recently, Dipika took to social media to share the teaser Sasural Simar Ka 2 confirming her association and now if reports are to be believed then Shoaib will also be part of the show.

According to a report in SpotboyE, "The show will start with original Simar and Prem played by Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim. The duo has already started shooting for it. However, the story will move ahead with the new star cast including faces like Avinash Mukherjee, Radhika Muthukumar and Akash Jagga in pivotal roles," a reliable source informed the portal.

For the uninitiated, Shoaib, played the main lead Prem on the show he had later quit following which Dheeraj Dhoopar stepped into his shoes.

Earlier on her comeback as Simar, Dipika had said, in an interview with TOI: "I have maintained that Simar is a part of me and will always be alive in me. I may have played the character for six years, but I continue to live it till date. People in my Sasural still address me as Simar."

She further added that they connected with her because of the show. "Also, as an artiste, I have never thought that I won't go back to a show or down the same path," added Dipika. The actress further stated that she turned down a lot of shows during her break and then she got a call for Sasural. "That show has made me what I am today."
