Salman Khan On Snake Bite Incident: 'It Reached Onto My Hand, Bit Me Thrice'
The incident happened in Salman Khan's bedroom at his farmhouse after he arrived from a shooting assignment early on Sunday morning.
In a major scare on the eve of his birthday, Bollywood megastar Salman Khan was bitten by a snake in his bedroom at the family's sprawling farmhouse in Raigad, around 45 km from the outskirts of Mumbai.The incident happened in Khan's bedroom after he arrived from a shooting assignment early on Sunday morning.
And now the actor has spoken in detail about how he was bitten by the snake at his farmhouse near Panvel.
Speaking to news agency ANI, Salman Khan said, "A snake had entered my farmhouse, I took it outside using a stick. Gradually it reached onto my hand. I then grabbed it to release, which is when it bit me thrice. It was a kind of poisonous snake. I was hospitalized for 6 hours...I am fine now."
After getting discharged from the hospital, Salman returned to the farmhouse and celebrated his 56th birthday with media. In several pictures and videos shared online, Salman was seen cutting a cake. He was stepped out of the farmhouse to interact with the paparazzi waiting outside. Dressed in a black T-shirt, black jacket and brown coloured pants, Salman looked dapper as ever.
Earlier, Dr Kuldeep Salgotra, who treated the actor told ANI, "Two teams of doctors are with Salman Khan and his health is fine."
Christened Salman Khan's 'Arpita Farms', the property is situated in a secluded, thickly forested area, spread across nearly 150-acres - which the Khan clan had bought more than two decades ago, and remains "in tune with nature".
It is the Khan family's favourite - and regular - haunt during long weekends, holidays, festivals or special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries of the different clan members, besides the occasional Bollywood party or shoots, and when international or Indian celebs drop in for a private retreat, away from Mumbai's prying paparazzi.
