New Delhi: Rubina Dilaik is on a reality show spree. After winning 'Bigg Boss Season 14', Rubina is currently participating in 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 12' and now will soon be seen in 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa's upcoming season. Fans are really excited to see Rubina make her appearance on the dance-reality show Jhalak. The excitement is also high considering that 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' is returning to the screens after many years. Rubina shared her excitement of performing in front of show judge Madhuri Dixit and how supportive her husband Abhinav Shukla has been after her parents.

In an interaction with ETimes, Rubina shared that she was quite nervous for 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' as this is going to be a completely different journey. "I am very nervous and it’s going to be a new journey. I take it as a new learning school for myself. All the three reality shows that I’ve done so far are very different in nature. They all have their own plus points which bring out new colours of our personality. I am looking forward to this journey because dancing has been my life," Rubina told ETimes.

Saying that she is not a trained dancer, Rubina emphasised how much she loves dancing and has been preparing for an opportunity like this all her life. "I have loved dancing throughout from the moment I’ve realized that I can talk, emote, and express myself. Dancing has been an integral part of my life. Today, to have this platform is my greatest opportunity and yes I’ve prepared for it throughout my life," Rubina was quoted as saying.

Rubina also threw light on her relationship with Abhinav Shukla, her husband.

"Abhinav had plans for me, surprises for me which fortunately or unfortunately we had to cancel two days ago. He then shared with me about the plan. He understands completely how much I love my work. He appreciates my dedication towards my work and he has always been the greatest support system. Earlier, my parents made sure that what I dream of or I aspire in life, they will constantly be my support system and now Abhinav does that for me. It just gives me the sense of surety that I have someone back home who’s always there for me and he has my back," Rubina said.

Rubina Dilaik also shared that Madhuri Dixit "has been my first source of inspiration and my first idol." Sharing her experience of performing in front of  Madhuri Dixit, Rubina said in the same interview, "I was blank when I made my first performance in front of Madhuri Dixit. I had dreamt, envisioned the moment of meeting or performing in front of Madhuri ma’am for the last so many years and I had planned I would say this or that and when the moment came I froze. I was frozen in the ecstasy of her."
