Recently, Priyanka disclosed about the worst phase of her life. There was a time when the ‘Text For You’ actress distanced herself from everyone. She revealed that she went into deep shock due to her breakup and the demise of her father Ashok Chopra.

Shock From Father’s Death

In her book 'Unfinished', ‘The White Tiger’ actress disclosed that in the year 2016 when she went to New York for the shoot of her show 'Quantico', she was going through a very bad phase. The ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ actress fell into deep trauma during those days because of her breakup and father's death. With which she fought hard to overcome.

Priyanka Chopra Went Out Only For Shoots

Priyanka also revealed in her autobiography that during those days, she used to step out of the house only for going to shoots which became the reason for her gaining 9 kilos of weight. Also, due to the trauma, the ‘Mary Kom’ actress could not even sleep at night.

Priyanka wrote in her book 'Unfinished', “When I was not calm, I used to feel lonely, sad and isolated. Nobody could understand what was going on inside me, because I did not tell anyone about my problems.” The ‘Quantico’ actress further disclosed that she did not believe her mother Madhu Chopra during those days.
