Sanjay Kapoor Shares Picture From Rajiv Kapoor’s Prayer Meet With A Heartfelt Note
Many celebrities paid their condolences to the late actor and recently, Rajiv Kapoor’s close friend Sanjay Kapoor shared an unseen picture from the prayer meeting.
New Delhi: In an unfortunate turn of events, Bollywood actor and director Rajiv Kapoor passed away on February 9, 2021. Reportedly, the younger brother of actors Randhir Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor succumbed to a massive cardiac attack. The ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’ actor’s death came as a shock to the entire Hindi film industry.
Many celebrities paid their condolences to the late actor and recently, Rajiv Kapoor’s close friend Sanjay Kapoor took to his Instagram and shared an unseen picture from the prayer meeting. In the picture, Sanjay can be seen sitting on a sofa with Rajiv Kapoor’s garlanded picture behind him. Sharing the picture, Sanjay wrote, “You will always be in my Heart”.
He also shared some rare unseen pictures and wrote, “U will be missed Sexy ❤️❤️”
Popularly known as Chimpu Kapoor, Rajiv’s death was first confirmed by his sister-in-law Neetu Kapoor as she took to her Instagram and shared a post.
The ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ actress also informed that there will be no chautha held for the late actor due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. she wrote in a post, “Due to the current pandemic circumstances, there will be no Chautha held for the Late Mr. Rajiv Kapoor for safety reasons. May is soul rest in peace. The entire Raj Kapoor family is a part of your grief too.”
Meanwhile, in a statement to ABP News, Randhir Kapoor revealed, “After he suffered a heart attack at home, he was taken to Inlaks hospital but the doctors declared him dead even before admission. It's unfortunate he could not be saved.”
Rajiv Kapoor was born to Bollywood actor Raj Kapoor and Krishna Kapoor. The ‘Zimmedaar’ actor was the youngest among three brothers and two sisters - Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Ritu Nanda and Rima Jain.
