‘People Openly Bully, Abuse, Give Rape Threats Online’: Uorfi Javed Talks About The Cyber Laws In India
Uorfi recently said that the cyber cells in India do not pay any attention to the complaints that have been raised.
New Delhi: Uorfi Javed rose to stardom after participating in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ for a short time. She maintains her place in the public eye due to her interesting social media presence. The young diva does not shy away from donning daring ensembles, and as a result, the internet community is often left gasping for air. Uorfi, on the other hand, is subject to harassment from mean-spirited trolls for the same reason.
Uorfi recently said that the cyber cells in India do not pay any attention to the complaints that have been raised and that this, according to her, provides trolls the freedom to continue tormenting individuals online.
Javed was emphasising the necessity for stringent legislation. On her Instagram story, she wrote, "There are no cyber laws in India, police, cyber cells hardly pay any attention to the registered complaints. That’s why people refrain from reporting. People openly bully, abuse, give rape threats online but nothing? I don’t understand why do we have to ignore that.”
Recently, Uorfi posted pictures without a top on, covering her chest with hair extensions. She wore a large nose earring in the pictures. Actress Kavita Kaushik commented, “Hey Rapunzel.”
As many know, the actress has been the target of trolls and sexist trolling. While Uorfi's boldness continues to astonish her followers, her outlandish fashion choices are often met with vicious abuse. The comments area of the actress's postings is often swamped with ugly remarks.
