New Delhi: Youtuber Elvish Yadav lifted the winning trophy of celebrity reality show 'Bigg Boss OTT Season 2' on Monday night. Yadav appeared on the Salman Khan-hosted show as a wild card participant. His victory is significant since he is the first wild card contender in Bigg Boss history to take home the prized trophy.
Elvish Yadav, Abhishek Malhan, Pooja Bhatt, Manisha Rani, and Bebika Dhurve were the season 2 Bigg Boss OTT finalists. Following the elimination of Pooja Bhatt, Manisha Rani, and Bebika, spectators had an additional 15 minutes to select their preferred player.
Elvish Yadav was declared the victor at last. Elvish took home the Bigg Boss trophy and Rs 20 million in prize money.
On stepping out of the Bigg Boss house, Elvish reacted to runner-up Abhishek Malhan's comment about him while they were inside the house.
Elvish shared his excitement on bagging the Bigg Boss OTT 2 trophy during an exclusive chat with Zoom TV. The popular YouTuber said, "I am myself shocked. I thought it was the makers who never let wild cards win. But that myth has been broken now. I can think of the impact I had on the audience that they made me win despite the half journey. I am very grateful."
Elvish, who beat another popular YouTuber Abhishek Malhan to bag the winning trophy, also reacted to the latter's comment about Elvish doing negative PR against him. "Bohot galat bola yaar. If I wanted to do something like this, I would have done it in the open. I didn't do anything of that sort."
Elvish also talked about his equation with housemates Pooja Bhatt and Manisha Rani. While he and Pooja Bhatt plan to meet outside the house, talking about his equation with Manisha, Elvish said, "Manisha is just a friend, and she will remain a friend."
