Bigg Boss OTT 2023 Winner: Elvish Yadav wins the reality show with 25 lakh cash and a beautiful trophy.

New Delhi: Bigg Boss OTT 2, hosted by Salman Khan, came to an end today with a special finale episode. Following the intense competition, the top five contestants were Elvish Yadav, Abhishek Malhan, Bebika Dhurve, Manisha Rani and Pooja Bhatt. Elvish Yadav emerged as the winner of this season. Salman Khan made the winning announcement live at midnight. Elvish went blank when his name was announced as the winner. Apart from a beautiful trophy, he won Rs. 25 lakhs. Abhishek Malhan emerges as the first runner-up. 

Two of the season's biggest stars, Elvish Yadav and Abhishek Malhan, were locked in a tight battle. Before the finale, online polls across many social media channels wanted to see Elvish Yadav win the golden prize.

On top of the five finalists, the contestants this season included Akanksha Puri, Cyrus Broacha, Jad Hadid, Aaliya Siddiqui, Puneet Superstar, Falaq Naaz, Avinash Sachdev, Palak Purswani, Jiya Shankar and Aashika Bhatia.

Jio Cinema began airing the Bigg Boss OTT 2 finale at 9 p.m. The reality show's season finale aired on Monday, which is unusual given that most of the time, these events are scheduled for the weekend. 

Guests and celebrities alike turned up for the grand finale event. Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday also came to promote their upcoming comedy-drama ‘Dream 2’.

The OTT reality programme is based on the Hindi language television series ‘Bigg Boss’. The first season of the OTT programme was hosted by Karan Johar. The first season of Bigg Boss, hosted by Arshad Warsi, debuted on November 3, 2006, and has since become a success. Salman Khan is the current host of the reality show.
