The production companies of Karan Johar and Guneet Monga Kapoor have formed a strategic content alliance.

New Delhi: The two biggest production houses in India are teaming together with the goal of bringing original and meaningful content to cinemas and digital platforms across the country. Dharma Productions, run by Karan Johar, and Sikhya Entertainment, run by Guneet Monga Kapoor, have established a strategic content alliance. Dharma Productions aspires to generate broad and fascinating content by combining the knowledge and experience of mainstream cinema with talent identification at Sikhya Entertainment, a company that specializes in independent filmmaking.

This partnership stems from the success of Dharma Productions' and Sikhya's co-founder Guneet Monga's cooperation on the highly acclaimed film ‘The Lunchbox’.

Filmmaker and Dharma Productions founder Karan Johar commented on the partnership, saying, "We are extremely excited to collaborate with Sikhya Entertainment. As a filmmaker, I have always believed in the power of storytelling to inspire, entertain, and challenge audiences. With this alliance, we have the opportunity to bring together our shared passion for creating innovative content and telling stories that resonate with people from all walks of life."

He added, "This partnership represents a unique blend of two brands that have always supported diverse and unconventional talent, and I can't wait to see what we will create together."

Guneet Monga Kapoor also shared her enthusiasm. She said, "This partnership is a first-of-its-kind collaboration between two distinct and unique brands in the industry, and we are excited to work together to create content that resonates with a wider audience. We believe that by combining our respective strengths and perspectives, we can push boundaries and deliver innovative and compelling stories that will capture the hearts and minds of audiences everywhere. We can't wait to get started and see where this exciting partnership takes us."
