Sapna Robin Masih apologised to Nawazuddin Siddiqui for her actions in a recent video.
New Delhi: Sapna Robin Masih, who previously filmed a tearful video claiming that actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui had abandoned her in Dubai with no means of support, has recanted her story. Sapna said in a recent video that she felt compelled to make such statements, and she apologised to Nawazuddin Siddiqui for her actions.
Times Now Digital has secured exclusive footage in which Sapna denies her previous accusations against the actor. The latest video has her claiming that she was pressured into making her accusations against Siddiqui. Furthermore, she says the actor's wife Aaliya's case is completely baseless.
She said in the video, “Main aapka bura nahin chahti. Kyunki aap bohut acche insaan ho. Iski wajah se main aapse bohut bohut maafi chahti hoon. Jo video aapne social media mein dekha uske liye sorry bolti hoon.”
Earlier, a video of 20-year-old Sapna was posted online in which she sobbed as she claimed she had been abandoned in Dubai. The lawyer for Nawazuddin's wife, Aaliya, posted it on Twitter, claiming that she had not been paid her wage because of visa expenses.
With their two children, Shora and Yani, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya relocated to Dubai in 2021. Aaliya and her children moved back to India last year, renting an apartment in the Yari Road neighbourhood of Mumbai.
For the unversed, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his wife, Aaliya Siddiqui, are now involved in a contentious legal battle over the property. According to reports, things between the two started to go south when Aaliyah returned to Mumbai from Dubai with her kids. She allegedly got into a fight with Mehrunisa Siddiqui, Nawazuddin's mother, who then reported her to the police. Aaliya later claimed that she was denied entry to the bathroom and food while being harassed at home.
Nawazuddin and Aaliya got married in 2011.
