Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s House Help Records A Teary Video, Says She's Stranded In Dubai Because Of Him

Nawazuddin Siddiqui hired Sapna Robin Masih to babysit his children while they studied in Dubai.

New Delhi: There seems to be no end in sight for Nawazuddin Siddiqui's problems. The actor has been accused of many offences by his housekeeper, adding to the scandal he has been involved in with his wife, Aaliya Siddiqui.

On February 19, 2019, Rizwaan, Aaliya Siddiqui's lawyer, posted a video showing Nawazuddin's maid, Sapna Robin Masih. Sapna is seen sobbing and saying that the actor is the reason she is stuck in Dubai. 

Rizwaan also explains the circumstances of Sapna's "wrongful" hiring. He also said that she had not been paid her wage because of the expense of obtaining a visa. According to government documents, Sapna was engaged as a Sales Manager by an unnamed organisation, the lawyer said. However, she was looking after Nawazuddin's youngest children in Dubai, where they were attending school. 

He also said that Sapna had been left completely alone in Dubai. The actor apparently abandoned her, leaving her "without food or money for her survival." The actor captioned the video, "The video & my statement speaks for itself. Govt authorities are requested to urgently rescue the house help of @Nawazuddin_S from Dubai where the girl is in a state of Solitary Confinement@cgidubai @UAEembassyIndia @LabourMinistry @HRDMinistry @MEAIndia @CPVIndia @OIA_MEA."

With their two children, Shora and Yani, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya relocated to Dubai in 2021. Aaliya and her children moved back to India last year, renting an apartment in the Yari Road neighbourhood of Mumbai.

​​For the unversed, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his wife, Aaliya Siddiqui, are now involved in a contentious legal battle over the property. According to reports, things between the two started to go south when Aaliyah returned to Mumbai from Dubai with her kids. She allegedly got into a fight with Mehrunisa Siddiqui, Nawazuddin's mother, who then reported her to the police. Aaliya later claimed that she was denied entry to the bathroom and food while being harassed at home.

Nawazuddin and Aaliya got married in 2011.
