Here’s the reason why Katrina Kaif is MISSING from Bharat teaser!

New Delhi: The teaser of Salman Khan starrer ‘Bharat’ was finally unveiled by the makers on Friday (January 25). Speculations were rife that the teaser of ‘Bharat’ will come on Republic Day but the makers surprised everyone by releasing it a day before. Fans have declared the teaser as mind-blowing and they have expressed their excitement after seeing five different avatars of Salman in the one minute and 26 seconds video. While the movie buffs got to see Salman Khan’s different avatars, there was no glimpse of his leading lady Katrina in the teaser. Considering Katrina’s plays an important role, fans were expecting the ‘Zero’ actress to feature in Bharat’s teaser. A report in an entertainment portal has revealed the main reason why Katrina was missing in the teaser. "Katrina plays a pivotal role in the movie. And the film's release is almost 6 months away. Hence the makers decided to keep her look and role guarded. It was a team decision to only establish Salman Khan's character in the teaser. Katrina's look and character details would be revealed only in the trailer, which will come out nearer to the film's release date," a source told Pinkvilla. "Katrina Kaif plays an absolute desi. She has an Indian look. In fact, she also did an extensive workshop with director Ali Abbas Zafar as a part of her prep. And introducing her role in the teaser might have given out the story slightly. Hence it was a deliberate move to keep her character away from the teaser," another source told the portal.
