New Delhi: All Yash Raj Films spy verse fans, brace yourselves. The movie production banner just announced the release date of 'WAR 2'. The film will be released on the Independence Day 2025 weekend. As the sixth film from the spy verse, fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the spy film.

'WAR 2' will be directed by Ayan Mukerji. 

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced the news on his social media account. Earlier, during 'Tiger 3' release, Hrithik Roshan was seen as agent Kabir in the post-credit scene of the Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif film. That had piqued audience's attention about a sequel which has been speculated for quite some time mow. The makers now finally announced the release date of 'WAR 2'. 'WAR 2' will reprise Hrithik Roshan's character as Agent Kabir

Fans are also anticipating the return of Tiger Shroff in the film as Hrithik Roshan's loyal friend and agent. There are also speculations about Jr. NTR, Kiara Advani and John Abraham as part of the film.

On the other hand, it will also be interesting to watch what the 'Brahmastra' director Ayan Mukerji will bring from his director's chair in his first spy film. Alot of anticipation will be riding high on 'WAR 2' given the first one was a blockbuster.
