K-Pop Singer & TST Member Yohan Passes Away At 28

Yohan's funeral will take place at Seoul's Yonsei funeral hall. The singer's fans have paid tribute to their favorite star on social media.

New Delhi: K-Pop singer Yohan, a member of boy band TST, left for his heavenly abode on Tuesday (June 16). He was 28. The singer’s real name was Kim Jeong-hwan. According to a report in The Sun, Yohan’s family hasn’t revealed the reason behind his death. The tragic news of his demise was announced by TST's music label KJ Music Entertainment. TST member Yohan passed away on June 16. The bereaved family is in great sadness. We sincerely ask the media to refrain from spreading rumours and speculations on Yohan's cause of death. We would like to send our deepest condolences,” one of the fan clubs shared the statement on Twitter.

According to local broadcaster SPOTV, Yohan’s funeral will take place in Yonsei funeral hall, Seoul. His last rites will be held on Thursday (June 18). Yohan was earlier associated with the band NOM. He joined TST, formerly known as Top Secret, in 2017. Fans mourned Yohan's death on social media and offered their condolence to his family. One user tweeted, "today we lost an angel named yohan who’s from the group top secret, rest in peace sweetheart and don’t forget that hanas, your members and your family loves and will always loves you."

"My condolences go out towards Top Secret Yohan (Kim Jung Hwan) family. Yohan was the brightest star in the sky. He taught people to love.His angelic voice helped me and others through tough times.He will forever be remembered and will always be in our hearts and prayers," another fan wrote on the micro-blogging site.

"Thank you so much Yohan for sharing your beautiful smile and talent with us, i hope you're in a better place. I'm sad that such a beautiful person is gone but you will never be forgotten. Thank you so much for everything, rest in peace," one user tweeted.
