In August this year, Adivi Sesh announced that actor Emraan Hashmi had joined the cast of 'Godachari 2', generating much excitement among fans eager to see the collaboration unfold on the big screen. Soon after the announcement, Emraan began filming but unfortunately sustained serious injuries on set. Pictures shared on social media showed a deep cut on his neck, with visible blood.

According to sources, the injury occurred during a jumping scene. Sources from the production revealed, "Emraan was filming an action sequence for the movie when he hurt his neck, likely during a jump." The 'Murder' actor is currently shooting for the film in Hyderabad.

Emraan Hashmi's Work Front

'Godachari 2' marks Emraan Hashmi's second Telugu film alongside Adivi Sesh. In addition, he is set to appear in another Telugu movie, 'OG', alongside Pawan Kalyan, which is scheduled for release in 2025. Emraan was last seen in 'Ae Watan Mere Watan' with Sara Ali Khan.

Emraan Hashmi On Rejecting Mouth Freshener Ads

Emraan Hashmi once talked about why he used to reject mouth freshener advertisements in an interview. He was asked if he had ever been approached by any mouth fresher company.

To which, Emraan replied, “I have rejected a lot of people because they came to me when I had to change my image and I said that if I do this, I will get stuck again. A lot of people come every year to offer mouth freshener ads. You know, it becomes a caricature of yourself. So, I do not want to get into that.”
