New Delhi: Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Dhamaka’ is one of the most talked-about movies this year. Smashing his ‘chocolate boy’ image on-screen, Kartik delivered a nail-biting performance in this action-thriller movie. ‘Dhamaka’ released on the OTT platform Netflix earlier today and, soon after its release, it started trending on Twitter.

Kartik Aaryan’s performance in the movie has been well-received by the audience. Many film industry celebrities including Hansal Mehta, Ayushmann Khurrana, Sunny Singh and others also hailed the ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ actor for his brilliant performance.

Directed by Ram Madhvani, ‘Dhamaka’ also features Mrunal Thakur and Amruta Subhash in prominent roles. It is based on the 2013 Korean film which goes by the name ‘The Terror Live’. Reportedly, the film will also be screened at the 52^nd International Film Festival of India (IFFI). Earlier slated to have a theatrical release, the makers of ‘Dhamaka’ announced earlier this year that the movie will have a direct OTT release.

Meanwhile, other than ‘Dhamaka’, Kartik Aaryan also has a number of upcoming projects in his kitty. He will be next seen featuring in a lead role in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ opposite Kiara Advani, Hansal Mehta’s ‘Captain India’, ‘Freddy’, ‘Shehzada’ opposite Kriti Sanon and Sameer Vidhwans’ untitled movie.
