Box-Office Clash: It's The Ghazi Attack, Irada & Running Shaadi this Friday

NEW DELHI:  Friday war has begun with three major releases at the box office namely, The Ghazi Attack, Irada and Running Shaadi. While The Ghazi Attack stands to be war drama, Running Shaadi is a romantic comedy with a freshness whereas Naseeruddin Shah, Arshad Warsi, Divya Dutta starrer Irada deals with the subject of environmental hazards. Out of the three, the much awaited has been The Baahubali actor Rana Daggubati's flick 'The Ghazi Attack' which narrates the story of Pakistani submarine PNS Ghazi which sank during Indo-Pakistan sea battle of 1971. The actor will be seen as Lt. Commander Arjun Varma while his co-star Taapsee Pannu is playing the role of refugee in the film. Directed by Sankalp Reddy, the disclaimer at the beginning clearly states that it is just inspired by historical event and is a work of fiction. I am pretty sure this film will be able to bring a smile on everyone's face," told the Pink actress to IANS. The common element that connects Running Shaadi and The Ghazi Attack is Taapsee Pannu who also has 'Naam Shabana' in her pocket. irada ' Irada', another release, helmed by debutant director Aparnaa revolves around a significant issue of water contamination. How Arshad Warsi playing Arjun Mishra and Parabjeet Walia played by Naseeruddin exposes the unholy nexus of pharmaceuticals and state administration is the crux of the story.
