All you need to know about Oscars 2018
New York [U.S.A]: As the 90th Academy Awards is about to kick off on Sunday evening (US Pacific time), the excitement is at its peak.
To take your excitement to the next level, we have collated all the information you need to have about the most awaited awards on the planet.
Hollywood saw a wind of change this past year: the downfall of Harvey Weinstein, the emergence of Times Up and red-carpet blackouts, and the thrilling rise of diversity at the multiplex.
The consensus is that this year's best picture has boiled down to a two-horse race, between The Shape of Water and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri - the former may edge out the Martin McDonagh directed black comedy despite the latter winning at the Baftas and coming out on top at the Globes, reported The Guardian.

There is also a lot of anticipation for Gary Oldman winning the best actor award for Darkest Hour, Frances McDormand for best actress for her film Three Billboards, and Sam Rockwell and Alison Janney for the supporting actor nods.
Shape of Water is leading the nominations count with 13.
With #Metoo campaign on the rise, actress Jennifer Lawrence and Jodie Foster are all set to replace Casey Affleck for presenting the Oscar for 'Best Actress' at the 90th Academy Awards after Affleck pulled out of the ceremony.
The previous year's winner of the Best Actor (Female) award presents the prize to the new Best Actress but after the 'Manchester by the Sea' star pulled out of the ceremony, Jennifer and Jodie have been asked to step in by the academy, according to Page Six.
