Akshay Kumar apologises for 'violating code of conduct for tricolor'

New Delhi: Akshay Kumar, who caught India and England fight for the Women's Cricket World Cup trophy in Lords on Sunday, has apologised for violating the code of conduct for the tricolor. In a now deleted tweet, the 'Rustom' star, while cheering for the Indian team, was seen waving the Indian flag upside down. Following which, the actor was trolled on social media. Akshay has now issued an apology which reads, "Extending my sincerest apology for violating the code of conduct for the tricolor. Didn't mean to offend anyone,the picture has been removed"   The 49-year-old has been shooting in Leeds, for 'Gold' - the story of independent India's first Olympic gold win by the country's men's hockey team.
