KBC 14: Amitabh Bachchan Shares Romantic Details From His Personal Life

New Delhi: Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who has had an impeccable acting career, has also proved his mettle as an entertaining host with the reality game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'. As much as the game show is loved by the audience which is in its 14th season now, the audience equally loves hearing anecdotes from Bachchan's life, who shares them on different occasions with the contestants. 

Recently, in one of the episodes, Amitabh Bachchan revealed that he used to observe Karwa Chauth for his wife, actress Jaya Bachchan in the initial years of their marriage, on 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 14'.

Ruchi, who is a media analyst from Gurugram, talked about the advantages of getting married to a childhood friend as he knows everything and one need not to pretend.

She also said that this year she kept her first Karwa Chauth after marriage and was shocked to know that her husband also kept the fast for her.

"This year was my first Karwa Chauth and in the morning when I prepared breakfast for my husband, he said he won't eat as he is also keeping fast for me."

Big B added to the conversation: "In the beginning I also used to keep fast, but later left it."

To this Ruchi replied: "Everyone says that in the initial years of marriage we used to do this and all but later left it. I am scared if the same happens with us!"

Big B shared another doting anecdote from his personal life with another contestant. Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan's love story has been an inspiration for many. The legendary actor shared that his wife and veteran actress Jaya Bachchan some times puts a morsel of his favourite food in his mouth with love.

During a banter with 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 14' contestant Harsh Saluja, the host told him about his bond with Jaya and how she expresses it through the sweet gesture.

Big B said: "On certain days, she puts a bite of my favourite food with a lot of love in my mouth."

Harsh, who hails from Gujarat took over the hotseat and shared about his relationship with his wife.

Big B asked him if he cooked food and he replied that his wife never allows him to enter the kitchen but often sends a letter along with his lunch box and always prepares his favourite food.

Later, he asked the host if Jaya also sends him letters, the host replied that although "She never sends any letter," she sometimes expresses her love and care by putting a bite of food in his mouth.

Harsh also asked Big B what he calls her at home and he replied jokingly: "Why should I tell you."
