Karan Johar To Throw His 50th Birthday Bash For The Film Fraternity At Yash Raj Studios

On the occasion of his 50th birthday, he is all set to throw a grand party for the entire film fraternity of Bollywood, at the Yash Raj Films Studios.

New Delhi: Filmmaker Karan Johar celebrates his birthday tomorrow, on May 25. On the occasion of his 50th birthday, he is all set to throw a grand party for the entire film fraternity of Bollywood, at the Yash Raj Films Studios.

Karan Johar is one of the most well-known directors of Bollywood industry, and is friends with most of the stars. Karan's 50th birthday is going to be a big event with the presence of popular celebrities, gracing the birthday bash to participate in the happiness of the director, as he completes his golden jubilee. Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri Khan, Kajol, Kareena and Karisma Kapoor are all expected to mark their presence at Karan's birthday bash on Wednesday.

As per reports, the theme of the birthday bash has been decided as 'black and bling', which is the most-loved theme by Bollywood celebrities. According to an ANI report, the entire setup of the bash will be designed by Amrita Mahal, who has worked on creating the sets of films like 'Kalank', 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani', 'Brahmastra' and 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'.

The birthday bash will reportedly take place at Yash Raj Studios and will be attended by the who's who of the film fraternity.

On the work front, Karan Johar has donned the director's hat after a long time for his upcoming venture, 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'. The film starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt also stars veteran actors Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan in pivotal roles. The romantic drama will hit the theatres in 2023.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar is busy promoting Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani starrer 'JugJugg Jeeyo', that has been produced under his banner, Dharma Productions. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Kohli.

The trailer of the family drama released on Sunday and has been receiving great reviews from the audience.
