Kajol Announces Her Web Series Debut With Disney+ Hotstar In DDLJ Style

New Delhi: With a new web series, Kajol is ready to wow audiences all over again. As part of Disney+ Hotstar, the actress will make her first foray into the world of OTT shows. Looks like Kajol is ready for the challenge to adapt to a new medium.
A brief peek of Kajol can be seen in the announcement video shared by Disney+ HotstarTwitter. She wore an all-red jumpsuit in the video. She made this announcement with a wonderful twist.
A voiceover can be heard stating the famous dialogue, “Palat, Palat, palat” from Kajol’s most iconic movie. The legendary Palat moment is from the 1995 film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, starring Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan.

There is currently no information available on the show's plot, structure, or production company; nevertheless, it is noteworthy due to the fact that Kajol will be starring in her debut in the Indian streaming series.
Banijay Asia, a subsidiary of the Banijay Group, will produce the series. In order to prepare for a 2023 release on Disney+ Hotstar, the project's producers are eager to finish the shooting soon.
Meanwhile, Kajol made her debut in OTT with the film ‘Tribhanga’ which was released on Netflix. She starred in the film with Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar. She is also scheduled to play the lead role in ‘The Last Hurrah’, which will be directed by Revathy.
