Mumbai: Renowned actress Juhi Chawla has been trying to spread awareness against harmful radiation emanating from mobile towers for a long time. She has also approached the court regarding this. Juhi Chawla has now filed a petition in Delhi High Court against the implementation of 5G technology in India. The first hearing is to be held today.

In this petition filed by Juhi Chawla, it has been appealed that before implementing the 5G technology in India, all kinds of studies related to it should be closely looked at and then only the idea of implementing 5G technology in India should be carried out. In this petition, Juhi Chawla asked the Telecom Ministry of the Government of India to conduct a study closely related to the impact of the implementation of 5G technology on the common people, all animals, flora and fauna. She has also appealed to take a decision on not implementing 5G in India.

Juhi Chawal revealed in a statement to ABP News, “We are not against the implementation of advanced technology. On the contrary, we enjoy the latest products coming out of the world of technology, including wireless communication. However, we are always in a dilemma about using such devices because our own research and studies related to wire-free gadgets and network cell towers clearly show that such radiation can be a major factor in people's health. And it is extremely harmful to their safety.”

Juhi Chawla's spokesperson said in an official statement that before the introduction of 5G technology in India, RF radiation has an effect on mankind, women, men, adults, children, babies, animals, animals, flora and the environment. A thorough study should be done and all the reports made or done related to it should be made public. The spokesperson says that it is necessary to clarify from such studies whether 5G technology is safe for the present and future generation of India.

The next date of hearing is June 2, 2021.

Stay tuned for more updates.
