John Abraham And Wife Priya Test Covid-19 Positive

John took to his Instagram on Monday, January 3 to announce the news wherein he mentioned that he contracted the virus after coming in contact with an infected person three days ago.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor-producer John Abraham and his wife Priya have tested positive for COVID-19. The 'Satyamev Jayate 2' actor took to his Instagram on Monday, January 3 to announce the news wherein he mentioned that he contracted the virus after coming in contact with an infected person three days ago.

John posted on his Instagram story and wrote,"I came in contact with someone three days ago who I later learned had COVID. Priya and I have tested positive for COVID. We have been quarantined for home so we haven't been in contact with anyone else. We are both vaccinated and experiencing mild symptoms. Please stay well and healthy. Masks up."

John Abraham will be seen in another power-packed patriotic drama 'Attack', slated to release on January 28, 2022. The action star will essay the role of a soldier in the film. 'Attack' also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez. 

Along with this, the 'Batla House' actor has also been roped in for Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathan' and 'Ek Villain Returns' that will also star Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria in lead roles.

Recently, Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur also shared the news of testing positive for COVID-19. The actress shared that she had mild symptoms and had isolated herself. She also informed that she was following all the protocols given by her doctor and health professionals.

Actor-dancer Nora Fatehi is also in home quarantine after testing positive for the virus on December 28. Actress Shilpa Shirodkar also shared recently that she had tested COVID positive.

Owing to the massive surge in COVID-19 cases, several popular celebrities are coming under the grip of the virus.

Earlier, actor Arjun Kapoor along with his sister Anshula Kapoor, cousin and designer Rhea Kapoor and her husband Karan Boolani were also diagnosed with the novel coronavirus, last week. Their aunt Maheep Kapoor married to actor Sanjay Kapoor and daughter Shanaya Kapoor had also tested positive before that.
