To authentically embody his character, Ranbir underwent a significant physical transformation, notably visible in his chiselled chest and six-pack abs. Nevertheless, a recent video on social media has unveiled a behind-the-scene aspect, revealing that, while diligently working out to sculpt his physique, the actor also employed prosthetics to depict his character's age and acquire a pot-bellied appearance.

The video showcases Ranbir affixing a prosthetic pot-belly, utilizing a silicon bodysuit to achieve the desired fuller stomach appearance. As this clip went viral on social media, fans commended the actor for his dedication and hard work in shaping his character. Taking to the comments section, a user wrote, "Atleast amir khan is natural actor he naturally put weight for dangal." To this, another user commented, "You'd think he would work out and put the weight on like Aamir Khan did for Dangal, then work out to take off the weight." 

Previously, Ranbir's fitness coach, Shivoham, had shared a gym training clip on Instagram, showcasing the actor lifting heavy weights to attain a bulked-up physique for his role in 'Animal'.

Talking about the film, in addition to Ranbir,  'Animal' also stars Bobby Deol who was also praised for his toned body in the film, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Tripti Dimri, and Shakti Kapoor among others. The film is performing well at the box office, having amassed Rs 338 crore within seven days of its release, while its global earnings stand at Rs 563 crore.
