The video showcases Ranbir affixing a prosthetic pot-belly, utilizing a silicon bodysuit to achieve the desired fuller stomach appearance. As this clip went viral on social media, fans commended the actor for his dedication and hard work in shaping his character. Simultaneously, some expressed scepticism, questioning why Ranbir did not opt for a natural weight gain approach rather than resorting to prosthetics.
