Hina Khan Reveals Priyanka Chopra Sent Heartfelt Message After Her Father’s Death: ‘She Understands What It Is To Lose A Father’

Mumbai: Popular actress Hina Khan’s father passed away last month on April 20. The actress’ father died after suffering a cardiac arrest in Mumbai. Hina Khan was shooting for her upcoming project with Shaheer Sheikh in Kashmir when the news broke out.

Hina, who was very close to her father, also tested positive for COVID-19 days after her father’s passing away. The ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ actress has been remembering her father as she keeps on sharing fond memories of her father on social media.

Recently, while in a conversation with Miss Malini, Hina revealed that after her father’s death, global icon Priyanka Chopra sent a heart-touching long message to her. Hina told, “I really like the way she picks these small, little things. I honestly don't want to talk about it, but I want to add a little bit. She is such a busy woman, an entrepreneur, she is doing so many things. She sent me a text message after my father's passing away, and such a long message. Not just a text message where you say 'I am sorry, condolences' and all. She understands what it is to lose a father. That was really special and heart-touching.”

Hina Khan first met Priyanka Chopra in the year 2019 at the Cannes Film Festival. This also marked Hina Khan’s debut at the film festival. During her previous interviews, the ‘Bigg Boss 11’ contestant disclosed that though she was nervous, she felt comfortable because of Priyanka Chopra.
