Grammy Awards 2024: PM Narendra Modi's Millet Song Gets Nominated For Best Global Music Performance
The music video depicts the process of growing millet in India and shows its potential for significantly decreasing hunger.
New Delhi: The song 'Abundance in Millets', which features Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech, is up for a Grammy Award nomination in the category of 'Best Global Music Performance'. Falu and Gaurav Shah created it. The song features a speech the Prime Minister gave in March of this year to kick off the Global Millets (Shree Anna) Conference.
The news was shared on the official page of Grammy on Twitter.

In his speech at the Delhi event, Prime Minister Modi had stated, "I am glad that today, as the world is celebrating 'International Millet Year', India is leading this campaign."
Falu and Gaurav Shah used a portion of the Prime Minister's speech in their song. The music video depicts the process of growing millet in India and shows its potential for significantly decreasing hunger.
Gaurav Shah and Falu (Falguni Shah) are the singers of the song. Falu (Falguni Shah) and Gaurav Shah, along with Kenya Autie, Greg Gonzalez, and Soumya Chatterjee, wrote and composed it. The song video was also produced by Kenya Autie.
