'Extremely Shocking': Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt & Other Celebs Offer Condolences For Sidhu Moosewala's Demise

Anil Kapoor went on Twitter and wrote, "Extremely shocking & sad news… such a talented young life tragically ended too soon."

New Delhi: Shubdeep Singh Sidhu Moosewala, a Punjabi singer and Congress politician, was assassinated on Sunday. The revelation has shocked the entertainment industry. Taking to Twitter, Rannvijay Singha said, "Shocking news about #sidhumoosewala , can’t believe it." Rapper Roach Killa described the event as a "black day" for the entertainment business. "So shocked.. this is snoop sad .. black day for the industry," he tweeted. 

The singer was shot in the vicinity of Mansa. He was allegedly shot at least ten times near a temple in the village of Jhawahar Ke before being certified dead at Mansa's Civil Hospital.

The incident occurred a day after Sidhu Moosewala's security cover was removed. He was one of 424 VIPs who lost security protection yesterday as part of the Bhagwant Mann government's crackdown on VIP culture.

Ashoke Pandit, head of the Indian Film and Television Directors' Association, expressed his condolences on the singer's death. “Well known Punjabi singer #SidhuMoosewala Shot Dead in Mansa district. Security was withdrawn yesterday. Heartfelt condolences to the grieved family and fans. It’s an intelligence failure & the @ArvindKejriwal Govt. should own the responsibility,” he tweeted.
