Elon Musk Wishes Amber Heard And Johnny Depp To ‘Move On’ After Defamation Trial

Given that Musk began dating Heard after her relationship with Depp ended, his name has also been brought up in connection with the trial.

New Delhi: With every passing day, the hubbub around Johnny Depp and Amber Heard`s trial is increasing more than ever. The latest discovery comes only the day before the jury is to begin deliberations in the defamation case. Elon Musk, Amber Heard's ex-boyfriend, rushed to Twitter a day after the jury started deliberations in the defamation lawsuit and wished the stars to ‘move on’.

Elon tweeted the following in response to a tweet on Johnny and Amber Heard's trial: "I hope they both move on. At their best, they are each incredible."

The year-long relationship between Musk and Heard came to an end in 2017. Even though they resumed their romance in 2018, they parted ways again after just a few months of commitment.

Given that Musk began seeing Heard after her relationship with Depp ended, his name has also been brought up in connection with the investigation. During the course of the trial, an official with the ACLU made it public that Elon Musk had contributed to the donation that Amber had pledged to make from the proceeds of her divorce settlement.

While Amber was married to Depp for two years, she sought a restraining order against him in May 2016, alleging domestic abuse. Over an op-ed piece she published in December 2018, she called herself "a public figure representing domestic violence."

Millions of people across the world have been following the trial, and interest appeared to grow as the weeks went by as both Depp and Heard testified about the horrific facts of their relationship. Depp's admirers have dominated the conversation online and in the courthouse.
