New Delhi: The biggest festival of the Bengalis Durga Puja starts today. Every year, Bengalis celebrate the festival with great pomp and show. The festival generally starts on the sixth day of Navratri and ends with Dussehra. The festival is believed to be the homecoming of goddess Durga and during these days, Bengalis wear new clothes to celebrate Maa Durga’s arrival.
Well, the preparations for Durga Puja starts months before the festival. From shopping to pandal making to composing special songs for the occasion, everything related to Durga Puja starts way before the festival actually begins.

As Durga Puja starts today, there’s a special version of the popular Sinhala song ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ by Yohani.
‘Manike Mage Hithe’ is a Sinhala song sung by Yohani which became popular worldwide. The singer became a sensation overnight after the song went viral on social media. It became so popular that every other Instagram reel is a rendition of this popular number by Yohani.
Yohani also visited India and shared the stage with Salman Khan in ‘Bigg Boss 15’. The ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ actor also sung the popular song with Yohani. During her India tour, she even visited Jacqueline Fernandez and had dinner with her.
The song has crossed more than 100 views on YouTube.
