Disha Salian Case: CBI Concludes Sushant Singh Rajput's Manager Death Was Accident
A senior officer declared that no evidence of foul play was revealed between Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian.
New Delhi: The CBI's probe into the Sushant Singh Rajput case included looking into the circumstances surrounding his manager Disha Salian's death. It has been concluded by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) that talent manager Disha Salian of Mumbai lost her balance and fell from a terrace while drunk. Hence, Disha's death was accidental.
According to the Economic Times, a senior officer said, “Since serious allegations were levelled in the Salian matter and claims were made that the two deaths were linked, as Salian had briefly worked for Rajput, her death has been probed in detail.”
He further said, "The investigation has revealed that Salian had been organising get-togethers at her residence in the run-up to her birthday. The party on June 8th night was part of it. However, that night, Salian, who had consumed alcohol, lost her balance and slipped from the parapet of her flat."
The source also explained the connection between Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian's death, telling the news website that no evidence of foul play was revealed beyond a few discussions between the two.
For the unversed, Disha passed away five days before the body of Sushant Singh Rajput was discovered by the police on June 14 at his rented apartment in Bandra. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is considering Sushant's death as a suicide and is exploring all possible angles. Before finalising its report on Rajput's death by suicide, the agency is conducting an investigation to determine whether or not there was any conspiracy in Rajput's death.
The actor's death is being investigated by separate organisations. The Narcotics Control Bureau is looking into the possible role that drugs played in Rajput's death, while the Central Bureau of Investigation is investigating the circumstances surrounding his death and the case of abetment to suicide registered against six people, including Rajput's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her family.
