American pop star Taylor Swift is reportedly set to perform in India for the first time. According to News18, the singer has been approached to take the stage during the pre-wedding festivities of Jeet Adani, son of business tycoon Gautam Adani.

Taylor Swift to perform in India?

“Yes, this is true. Taylor Swift’s team is in talks with the Adanis to perform at one of the pre-wedding festivities of Jeet Adani and Diva Shah. Even though Taylor has not confirmed her presence as of now, talks are underway and looks like the grand wedding will mark her first performance in India," an insider told the publication.

Taylor Swift enjoys a massive following in India, yet has never performed here. India was notably absent from her Eras Tour, which included stops in Singapore and Japan. 

During the promotion of her 1989 album in 2014, she acknowledged her large and passionate Indian fan base. In interviews at the time, Taylor expressed her appreciation for the enthusiastic support she received from her fans in the country.

Jeet Adani wedding

Gautam Adani’s son, Jeet Adani, got engaged to Diva Shah in a private ceremony in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in March 2023. The couple is expected to marry later this year. Reports suggest that Jeet's wedding will be extravagant, featuring thousands of artists creating record-breaking rangolis and performances by international celebrities.

According to reports, high-profile stars such as Travis Scott, Honey Singh, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Selena Gomez, and Sydney Sweeney will be attending the wedding, making it an epic and luxurious celebration.

Jeet Adani, son of Gautam Adani, joined the Adani Group in 2019 and now manages the Adani Airports business and Adani Digital Labs. His fiancée, Diva Jaimin Shah, is the daughter of diamond trader Jaimin Shah. The couple got engaged in March 2023 in a private ceremony in Ahmedabad. A photo of them went viral on social media. Their pre-wedding celebration took place in Udaipur in December 2024.
