Ajay Devgn Says Kareena Kapoor Has 'All The Gossip' While Ranveer Singh 'Talks Rubbish'

Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn, known for their playful camaraderie and pranks on set, recently opened up about their time working together on ‘Singham Again’. However, the dynamic duo shared that this time around, it was the lively presence of Ranveer Singh and Kareena Kapoor that kept the atmosphere buzzing on set.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Ajay Devgn shared his experience working with the star-studded cast. The actor, who is typically known for his pranks, shared that he was kept on his toes by none other than Ranveer Singh. “It was just normal working with colleagues. Ranveer kept me busy all the time by talking rubbish the whole time. That’s that and you learn a lot about the industry from Bebo… Kareena has all the gossip in the world. It was that,” he said.

Rohit Shetty, too, had praise for the star cast, highlighting their professionalism. When asked how he managed such a large ensemble, Shetty explained that the atmosphere on set was more about teamwork than celebrity status.  

"It was not difficult to manage them all on set. There is nothing like they are stars on sets. They all come on set like a technician for the film. I have never seen in so many films that an actor is coming and saying, 'I am the star.' This doesn’t happen. They all just come to work," said the director. He then stated that everyone, from the stars to the crew, worked equally hard to make the film a success. 

During the interview, when a student inquired about which celebrity Ajay Devgn would choose for a college event, Devgn humorously pointed to his Singham Again co-star Ranveer Singh.  

"I think you should be calling Ranveer Singh. He really entertains well," Ajay responded. 

The conversation took a lighter turn when another student asked Rohit Shetty about his infamous pranks on set, particularly the rumours of him throwing bottles at people while they slept. "Not really," Shetty replied when asked if he pulled any pranks during ‘Singham Again’. When the student probed further, asking "Why?", Shetty jokingly responded, “I am sorry, galti hogayi. Agli film mein karke, I will send you the video." 

‘Singham Again’ is a star-studded action-packed film that includes Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff, among others. The film has been a massive success, grossing over Rs 180 crore in India within just eight days of its release.
