Neeru Bajwa Deletes 'Sardaar Ji 3' Posts Amid Hania Aamir Backlash, Netizens React

As backlash continues over Hania Aamir’s casting in 'Sardaar Ji 3', co-star Neeru Bajwa appears to distance herself from the project, deleting all related posts just ahead of the release.

New Delhi: In the wake of rising criticism over Pakistani actress Hania Aamir’s presence in 'Sardaar Ji 3', all eyes are now on Neeru Bajwa, who seems to have taken a bold step to distance herself from the controversy. Just a day before the film’s overseas release on June 27, the actress reportedly removed all posts related to the movie from her Instagram, fuelling speculation across social media.

The move came amid growing outrage following the recent Pahalgam terror attack, which has intensified public scrutiny of any collaborations involving Pakistani artists. While Diljit Dosanjh continues to promote the film and maintain silence on the issue, Reddit users were quick to notice Neeru’s quiet yet significant digital cleanup.

A Reddit post citing the Instagram page ‘Lollywoodspace’ claimed that not only has Neeru deleted 'Sardaar Ji 3' content, but she has also unfollowed Hania Aamir on Instagram. The reaction from users was immediate: “This is brave on Neeru’s part! Respect to her!” wrote one, while another added, “At least someone has some spine.” A third user said, "Respect for Neeru Bajwa."

Adding to the divide, users also noted that Neeru was one of the few Punjabi actors to previously applaud Operation Sindoor and support the Indian armed forces.
