Badshah Urges Peace Between Diljit Dosanjh And AP Dhillon: 'Don't Make The Mistakes That We Made'

A growing rift between Punjabi music icons Diljit Dosanjh and A. P. Dhillon has captured widespread attention. Now rapper Badshah has a message for both singers. Taking to Instagram, Badshah shared a cryptic note that appeared to address the brewing feud.

Badhah wrote in his Instagram stories, “Please don't make the mistakes that we made. The world is ours for the taking. Like they say ‘if you wanna go fast, go alone but if you wanna go far, go together’. United we stand.”

The controversy began when A. P. Dhillon, known for hits like 'Brown Munde' and 'Excuses', claimed during a live performance that Diljit had blocked him on Instagram. In an Instagram post, Diljit refuted the claim, stating that he had not blocked anyone. He wrote, “All my fight is against the governments, and I would never pick a fight with a fellow artist. I respect art and all artists.” 

However, Dhillon later posted a screen recording on Instagram Stories showing he was indeed blocked from viewing Diljit’s content. He followed up with another recording showing that he could access Diljit’s profile after being unblocked. 

Badshah's message's reference

Badshah’s Instagram Story, referencing past mistakes, seemed to hint at his own public fallout with rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh. The two artists were once collaborators and reportedly part of the music group Mafia Mundeer, founded by Honey Singh, alongside Diljit. However, their partnership soured over time. 

Honey Singh had previously dismissed Badshah’s association with Mafia Mundeer, claiming that the rapper was not a genuine member but a client. According to Honey, Badshah came from a privileged background that did not align with the group's mission to uplift struggling artists. He alleged that Badshah’s father had paid him to create and produce a song for his son, which further strained their relationship.
