Ashish Chanchlani And Elli AvrRam Clarify Dating Rumours After Viral ‘Finally’ Post: ‘Mujhe Pagal Kutte Ne...'

Ashish Chanchlani and Elli AvrRam clarify that they are not dating after a viral post sparked rumours. The duo explains it was just a music promo.

After their romantic photo with the caption “finally” set social media buzzing, content creator Ashish Chanchlani and actress Elli AvrRam have put an end to all speculations about their relationship status. The duo recently went live on Instagram, clarifying that they are not dating and were simply promoting their music video Chandaniya.

The Viral Picture and the Reactions That Followed

Fans were sent into a frenzy after Ashish and Elli shared a cosy snapshot on social media with the word “finally” in the caption, which many took as an official relationship announcement. However, it soon emerged that the two were teasing the release of their romantic music video and not confirming any real-life romance.

“We are not dating,” Elli confirmed during the live session. Ashish joined in with a humorous quip, saying, “I can never date this person. Mujhe pagal kutte ne nahi kata hai.”

They both expressed surprise at the overwhelming reactions. “Elli’s parents knew the truth. But apart from them, so many people congratulated us,” Ashish shared. Elli admitted that while she didn’t know how to react at first, it was heartwarming to see the number of well-wishers.

“It Wasn’t a Prank” — Just a Misunderstanding

Clearing the air, Elli insisted, “It wasn’t a prank. Our caption ‘Finally’ referred to the release of our song. What people assumed is beyond our control.”

Ashish further explained that he expected his followers to treat it as another of his jokes, but didn’t foresee how far the narrative would spiral. “It blew up once media houses picked it up,” he said. “It took us two days to realise how far it had gone. My mom’s friend even called to say, ‘Don’t send sweets, I’m not at home.’ That’s when we knew we had to burst the bubble.”

What’s Next for Ashish and Elli?

Ashish Chanchlani, best known for his comedy sketches, is gearing up for his next project titled Ekaki, a horror-comedy series. He will be taking on multiple roles in the project — writer, director, actor, and producer.

Elli AvrRam, who rose to fame after participating in Bigg Boss 7 in 2013, has worked in Bollywood films like Mickey Virus, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, Naam Shabana, and Goodbye. The Swedish-Greek actress continues to charm audiences with her versatility and screen presence.
