Anupamaa Actress Madalsa Sharma Wore A 10-Kilo Lehenga For Wedding Scene

Besides Madalsa, the daily soap also features Sudhanshu Pandey and Rupali Ganguly in prominent roles. Anupamaa has been ruling the TRP charts at number one position for the past several months.

Television actress Madalsa Sharma says she wore a lehenga weighing 10 kilos for a wedding sequence in Rajan and Deepa Shahi's popular show "Anupamaa". The actress wore the stunning pink lehenga for the wedding sequence of her character Kavya to Vanraj Shah.

Madalsa, who is married to actor Mimoh Chakraborty, says it was a challenge wearing the lehenga.

"The lehenga I was wearing for my wedding weighed almost 10 kilos. It was a challenge, but I gave it my best," she said.

Currently on the show, Kavya's dream of getting hitched to Vanraj has come true. Although Vanraj was having second thoughts about marrying her, he took the step at the last moment.

Besides Madalsa, the daily soap also features Sudhanshu Pandey and Rupali Ganguly in prominent roles. Anupamaa has been ruling the TRP charts at number one position for the past several months, recently, it was dethroned to no. 2 by Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein.

Recently, an old video of Anupamaa's lead actress Rupali Ganguly went viral on social media, in the viral clip the actress can be seen auditioning for the role of Anupamaa.

In the video, Rupali can be seen in her onscreen avatar with a cotton saree and hair tied in a loose bun. She is enacting the scene where her daughter asks her to not enter her room without permission and Anupamaa talks about how a mother and a daughter can be friends with each other.
