Akshay Kumar's Mother Aruna Bhatia Dies In Mumbai, Actor Writes 'Today I Feel An Unbearable Pain'

Bollywood actor Akshay's mother Aruna Bhatia breathed her last today

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar's mother Aruna Bhatia passed away on Wednesday morning. The actor shared the heartbreaking news to the fans and followers through an Instagram post. She was admitted on Friday, September 3, evening in Mumbai’s Hiranandani Hospital. She was in critical condition and her health condition was deteriorating for the past few days.

Taking to social media, Akshay wrote, "She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti." 

Soon as the sad news of Akshay's mom passing away surfaced,  fans and members from the film industry poured in their deepest condolences on social media.

Akshay's mother was in a critical condition from last few days and the actor had left his shoot mid-way in London to be with his mom last week. Earlier on Tuesday evening, the Bellbottom star had requested fans to pray for his mother as she was in a very serious condition.This is a very tough hour for me and my family. Every single prayer of yours would greatly help," read his post.

 

Akshay, who was shooting for his upcoming film Cinderella in the UK, returned to Mumbai on Monday morning to be with his ailing mother.

Besides Cinderella the actor has Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi, Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re, Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey and Raksha Bandhan in his kitty.
