Ajay Devgn Called Up Salman Khan After Deciding To Release Runway 34 On Eid

Ajay Devgn's 'Runway 34' will also clash with Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer 'Heropanti 2'

New Delhi: Ajay Devgn called up Salman Khan first thing after deciding that 'Runway 34' will release on Eid 2022. 

In an interaction with Pinkvilla during the promotions of his upcoming film that is all set to release on 29th April, Ajay said, "My intention was not exactly an Eid release. We wanted to come on this date and it coincided with Eid. I was happy about it. When I announced the film, I didn't realize that Eid is falling in the same week."

The first thing Ajay did was call up Salman Khan. He asked Salman over the phone, "I have announced this date and it is Eid. Are you okay?" To which Salman replied, "Don't worry, I won't come that week. I'll come next year on Eid"," Ajay added.

As is a known fact among Bhai's fans that most of his films release on the occasion of Eid. His next film, 'Tiger 3', the third sequel of Tiger films is also slated to release on Eid 2023.

On the other hand, Ajay's 'Runway 34' is slated to release in the upcoming weekend that extends to Eid's holiday on 2nd May.

'Runway 34' also features Amitabh Bachchan and Boman Irani. Directed by Ajay himself, and produced by Ajay Devgn FFilms and Panorama Studios, 'Runway 34' will release on 29th April 2022.

It will also clash with Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer 'Heropanti 2'. While both films’ genres are different, let’s see which performs better at the box office.
