Bengali Actress Aindrila Sharma Passes Away At 24 After Multiple Cardiac Arrests

Actress Aindrila Sharma had repeated cardiac arrests as a result of clots that formed in her brain.

New Delhi: Bengali actress Aindrila Sharma, who was in a critical condition after suffering multiple cardiac arrests, passed away on Sunday, November 20. The actress' health had been deteriorating over the past few days.

Actress Aindrila Sharma had repeated cardiac arrests as a result of clots that had formed in her brain. On Tuesday morning, the hospital administration provided the information to the media. However, the severity of her health was really concerning. 

She was transported to the hospital on November 1st, after a brain stroke where the surgeons performed brain surgery to remove the clots. Since then, she had been kept on a ventilator. But, the actress suffered multiple cardiac arrests on Monday, November 14.

She experienced a slight cardiac arrest earlier yesterday and was kept entirely on a ventilator. Later that evening, the actress' condition deteriorated rapidly due to repeated cardiac arrests. Aindrila experienced at least ten cardiac arrests, according to hospital officials, and she was under the careful supervision of a medical team that was assembled especially for her care.

Earlier on Monday, Aindrila's boyfriend, actor Sabyasachi Chowdhury, came to his social media page and requested her admirers to hope for a miracle. According to what he posted, the actress's situation is not stable at this time. The entire Tollywood industry, as well as her fans, kept on praying for the actress.

The actress has battled cancer twice and survived. She had a passion for acting and continued to work on daily soaps. Her debut daily soap, "Jhumur," was followed by roles as the female lead in several additional shows, including "Jiban Jyoti," "Jiyon Kathi," and others.
