New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched a blistering attack at Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah, while addressing a massive poll rally at Kathua in Jammu region. He said that Mufti family and Abdullah family have ruined three generations of Jammu and Kashmir and for better future of state, they need to be voted out. “Abdullah family and Mufti family destroyed lives of three generations of Jammu and Kashmir. The bright future of the state can be ensured only after their departure. They can bring their entire clan into field, can abuse Modi as much as they want but they won't be able to divide this nation,” said PM Modi in a thundering speech. The Prime Minister also raised the issue of Kashmiri Pandits’ displacement from the valley and attacked Congress over dynasty politics and also over its manifesto. Training guns at the Congress, he said: “The entire country was commemorating Jallianwala Bagh Centenary yesterday but Congress politicised this sensitive occasion too. The Vice President was in Jallianwala Bagh for govt event, he paid tribute to the martyrs but Congress' CM was not there. Do you know why? Because he was busy in 'bhakti' of 'Congress parivar'. He went to Jallianwala Bagh with naamdar but didn't find it right to attend event with Vice Pres. This is the difference between 'Rashtrabhakti' and 'Parivar bhakti'.” “I have known Captain Amarinder Singh for a long time. I have never raised a question on his patriotism. I can understand the kind of pressure which must have been put on him for such 'parivar bhakti'”, he said. On the Kashmiri Pandits issues, PM said: “I am committed to settle displaced Kashmir Pandits in their native places in Kashmir and work has started in this direction: PM in Kathua. He said, due to the policies of Congress, Kashmiri Pandits had to leave their own home. Congress and their friends were so worried about their vote bank that they overlooked the atrocities on Kashmiri Pandits. “I would like to ask Congress, who would do justice when they did injustice for 60 years? Will Congress ever be able to provide justice to Kashmiri Pandits? Will they be able to provide justice to those massacred in 1984 riots,” PM asked. “Congress might avoid taking their name but this chowkidar is committed to let Kashmiri Pandits live on their land. Work has begun. We're also making efforts to form law to provide citizenship to families which have come here helplessly from Pakistan and believe in Ma Bharti”, the PM said. PM also slammed Congress over its manifesto and said that the party wants to remove army from Jammu and Kashmir, which is there for the safety of the residents of the state. He said that nobody can make these changes in the state, without the permission of the people of the valley. "Congress says it will talk to separatist elements without conditions. Is this its patriotism?", PM said. Attacking the separatists, PM said “be it Jammu or Kashmir, Leh or Ladakh, every single child here is an Indian. Demands of a handful of people will not decide what every other resident of this state wants.”
