Ola Electric Scooter To Be Delivered From October, Book One For Less Than Rs 500

Ola has launched its E-Scooter S1 and S1 Pro. The company has priced it at Rs 99,999 and Rs 1,29,999 respectively.

Ola revealed the price of its much-awaited E-Scooter aimed at reducing pollution levels in the country and further promoting electric vehicles. Ola launched S1 and S1 Pro on the day of the 75th Indepence Day Anniversary.

Ola E-Scooter S1 is priced at Rs 99,999 and S1-Pro is priced at Rs 1,29,999. The company said E-Scooter can be boked till September 8, the delivery will start from October. At present, this E-Scooter of Ola can be booked at Rs. 499. 

Mileage Of S1 & S1 Pro On Full Charge

Ola informed that its S1 scooter will run for 121 km when fully charged, while its maximum speed will be 90 kmph. The company also reported that it could accelerate to 40 kmph in just 3.6 seconds. This E-scooter has two modes, normal and sport.

Talking about S1 Pro, the company said it will run for 181 km once fully charged. It will have a maximum speed of 115 kmph. It can accelerate to 40 kmph in just 3 seconds. The S1 Pro has three modes normal, sport, and hyper.

These scooters will be available to customers in 10 colors.

The company said both scooters can also be taken on monthly installments of 2999. Ola will sell its scooter both online and offline. For offline sales, the company has planned to open an experience center in every city in the country in the next three months.

Ola Company Chairman Bhavish Agarwal said that it is important for our country to move towards electronic vehicles (EV).

"We have created our technology in India. By 2025, every two-wheeler in India will be an electric two-wheeler. We want 50 percent of the world's two-wheelers to be made in India," Ola Chairman and Group Executive Officer Bhavish Aggarwal told reporters.

He explained that more than 100,000 bookings have been made with Ola for both models of E-scooters. Bhavish Aggarwal also highlighted that the booking for Ola E-scooter is not only from metro cities but also from small towns. He said S1 and S1 Pro is the company's most leading best-in-class product by price.
