Norton Motorcycles Launch In India With Electra- What To Expect?

A slew of new models would be expected and these would not be expected to be based on the current models while being all new motorcycles

TVS will bring Norton motorcycles to India by the end of 2025 and that means, this British brand will be available via locally made motorcycles made by TVS. With massive investment in place by TVS, the new range of Norton motorcycles will come by this year and we can expect these new motorcycles to be on sale in India too with the name of the first bike being Electra. A slew of new models would be expected and these would not be expected to be based on the current models while being all new motorcycles.

By 2030, the British brand aims to have a new range of bikes while the first one would be revealed towards the end of the year. It is also clear that this brand will become more competitive than what its current global range is. Norton has been about premium motorcycles but in order to compete with Triumph and Royal Enfield, that has to be changed and these new Norton bikes would be more competitively priced as a result.

That said, being a premium brand, some of that appeal would be kept. Another crucial highlight is that due to the India-UK free trade agreement, the CBU duties would be reduced, which will also make these motorcycles more competitive while coming to India as CBUs. The new Norton motorcycles would be modern but also keep the classic DNA of the earlier ones intact while TVS has been working to iron out the issues of the current models as well. Global reveal of the new Norton will be later in the year.
