New Maruti Suzuki Dzire Vs Old: New Looks With A Different Engine
The new Dzire looks much better and more premium as per these images with a set of slim headlamps and connected to a chrome line while the grille is now larger
Maruti Suzuki will launch its new generation Dzire compact sedan in India by the 11th of November but a set of leaked images have revealed the styling of the new generation model. Compared to the current Dzire, the new one looks completely different and has an entirely new design language.
It looks much better and more premium as per these images with a set of slim headlamps and connected to a chrome line while the grille is now larger. It still remains under 4m but it looks sleeker while now being more proportional in its dimensions. The rear has a large chrome line which connects the taillamps.
It seems there is no connection to the Swift on which it is based on while the taillamps have a Y shaped design detail. The interiors we expect would be similar to the Swift but with a different colour scheme. However expect the same touchscreen and some elements being carried out.
That said it could have a sunroof which is something the current Dzire or any compact sedan does not have. We will know about the exact specifications and features soon closer to the launch date. As far as the engine is concerned, the new Dzire will have a different powertrain from the current one with the same Z series three cylinder engine from the new Swift.
Hence expect the same power figures and the option of an AMT while standard would be a 5-speed manual gearbox. The new Dzire would be an important car for Maruti Suzuki and has sold very well over the years.
