Harley Davidson is all set to lock horns with Royal Enfield as an affordable sporty cruiser. These first images showcase the bike and it looks like it has reached production status and launch is due soon. Made with Hero Motocorp, the new Harley Davidson bike will be a crucial model and will be entering the lucrative cruiser space. 

Design wise, the images suggest that it will be a big sporty cruiser or like a roadster while the proportions are typically Harley with the muscular tank design and the LED light with its distinctive DRL design sure does stand out. Expect premium quality levels and features like a TFT display amongst other features. The display seems nicely done and is clean in looks as well.

The design seems aggressive but not in the typical cruiser mould and has a more aggressive look here. It is not the typical Harley Davidson as instead it brings a sportier twist. Exact specifications would be revealed soon though but it looks like it will handle our roads pretty well and has decent ground clearance.

The engine is crucial and here it will most likely be a single cylinder engine above 400cc while the gearbox would be a 6-speed one. This means that it will aim to compete with the likes of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and Jawa 42. 

Manufactured by Hero Motocorp, the affordable new Harley Davidson motorcycle will be aggressively priced and that would be the key factor to its appeal. 

Expect pricing to be in the region of Rs 2.5-3 lakh and will expand its reach to get new buyers while making the Harley Davidson name more attainable. This is surely one of the most awaited new bikes of the year overall.
