MG Motor To Launch Cloud As Most Affordable Electric Crossover. Know Range, Price And Features

In India the Cloud could come with a different name and it could be the most affordable electric MPV with prices around 10-15 lakh.

After its recent announcement, MG Motor is ramping up its plans and will launch a new car every few months. The range of new cars would include electrified cars with hybrids and full EVs.

 

Recently, the MG Motor Cloud Crossover was spotted on test and MG could bring this as the most affordable electric crossover. Sold as the Wuling Cloud overseas, this is a compact MPV measuring just above 4.2m with a 2700mm wheelbase.

 

The design is minimalistic and clean with a floating roof design along with flush door handles. Despite the compact length, a lot of space is carved out inside.

 

The design of the dashboard though is minimalistic with a fully digital instrument cluster along with a large tablet-sized touchscreen. There are Adas systems too while a flat floor will mean space at the back.

 

 

The battery pack of the Cloud EV is a 50.6kWh battery pack with a range hovering around 460-500km. In India, the Cloud could come with a different name and it could be the most affordable electric Crossover with prices around 10-15 lakh. 

 

 

MG Motor and JSW recently showed their new joint venture where they would launch a lineup of new cars in India which includes closing the gap between the MG ZS and the MG comet with two new products in that space.
